The Much Awaited Lanesborough Has Reopened

London has changed quite a bit in the past 18 months but The Lanesborough’s arrival hasn’t gone unnoticed. I had the opportunity to stay at the hotel in August just after it reopened. The interiors and the experience are very refreshing – the hotel has returned with it’s timeless luxury and impeccable service. I had the opportunity to stay a night and was swept away from my feet!

The Lanesborough is located in one of London’s most exclusive neighborhoods, walking distance to Harrods and some of the most sought after attractions including Hyde Park, The Serpentine Lake and the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Breakfast at the Shangri La Shard!

Turning 25 has been extremely overwhelming. They call it the quarter life crisis but to be honest, I feel I have yet a long way to go to achieve my dreams. I don’t even feel that old. Turning 25 made me realise that I have been living in one of the best cities in the world for the past 7 years that is constantly evolving.

On my birthday, a dear friend took me to The Shangri La Shard for breakfast. The views were absolutely stunning!

They could definitely work on the service but the value for what we got, the views, the ambience were all top notch. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting London to visit this place for its views and ambience.

Ham Yard Hotel London

Very few words can really describe this amazing discovery I had with one of my friends one early week day morning when we decided to treat ourselves to a breakfast at a hotel. The Firmdale Group is renowned for it’s style, luxury and service but little did we expect for the newly opened Ham Yard Hotel to be such a pleasant surprise.

Situated in the heart of Soho, this new addition to the London hotel scene has taken everyone by storm. People are hanging out there for drinks or booking events in their bowling alley! Yes this hotel has a private bowling alley in the basement!

The breakfast room was stunning, beautiful seating and very comfortable chairs yet elegant. The menu is simple, reasonably priced and the coffee is definitely worth the price! Its hard to tell the breakfast apart from any other place but the service and the display was the cutting edge factor of my first experience there. I do recommend atleast one visit in a lifetime
