Paul Rhodes Bakery of Notting Hill!

On a cold wintry day there is nothing better than being seated in Notting Hill’s hidden gem, the Paul Rhodes Bakery with a delicious brownie (one of the best and I must say the richest in London) paired with a hot latte!

I had the pleasure of visiting Paul Rhode’s bakery earlier this year and the busy London life has not allowed me to go back yet, but it is something on my to do list for a weekend when I want to get away from the hustle and bustle of London.

Paul Rhodes is renowned for their breads, cakes and their latest addition, the cafe in Notting Hill.

Next time I am in I will definitely be taking lots home!

Breakfasts at Aubaine!

Aubaine is becoming the new hang out spot for lifestyle bloggers in London and I have had the pleasure to be a part of these breakfasts hosted at various Aubaine locations. My favourite has to be the one at High Street Kensington. The beautiful corner location makes it a hidden gem of the area.

The coffees are always perfect and I always enjoy the lattes followed by some Eggs Royale and the amazing freshly baked breads. I highly recommend this place to those who are looking to have a relaxed catch up with their friends and colleagues especially for breakfast!

My latest visit was for a Cafe Gourmand at the Dover Street Aubaine where I enjoyed some sweet nibbles, the best being the pistachio macaroon along with a coffee on a Friday afternoon, put me in the right mood for the weekend!

Cafe Chula in Camden!

I had never thought of going for a coffee to Camden but a visit to Camden is definitely on my list for things to do on a weekend – hence once I discovered Cafe Chula, I knew I had to go!

Located just at The Camden Lock, this Mexican Cafe transports you back to Mexico, if you havent been and really want to experience the culture, I highly recommend this place. Home to Mexican cocktails, Mexican hot chocolate and exactly what one is looking for on a rainy day, Spicy Mexican Coffee which looks like this (below) and immediately brightens up your mood! The coffee was equally delicious, the right balance of caffeine and once the cream mixes with the americano the spicy – sweet taste hits the spot, not too heavy either and served in a massive jar/mug.

Another factor that made me fall in love with the place was the service and the staff. Absolutely down to earth and very welcoming.
